Brad Pitt has been accused of choking one of his children during the now-infamous 2016 violent dispute on a private jet. Angelina Jolie shared new details regarding the breakdown of her marriage to Pitt in a cross-complaint filed in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday.

In the countersuit, the Maleficent actress alleged that the 58-year-old actor “choked” one of his children and hit another in the face. He also “grabbed” his then-wife by the head, according to court documents.

“To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats, injuring Jolie’s back and elbow,” the documents allege.

Tuesday’s lawsuit was filed as part of an ongoing legal battle over Jolie’s sale of her stake in their joint French winery, Chateau Miraval.

Brad Pitt’s children:

Jolie and Pitt have six children together – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.

Pitt became a father for the first time when he adopted Maddox Chivan, 21, following his relationship with Jolie in 2005. Jolie had adopted Maddox when he was 7 months old in Cambodia. 

At the time of Maddox’s adoption, Jolie was still married to Billy Bob Thornton. But, she adopted the boy on her own.

Three years later, Jolie adopted Zahara Marley, 17, who was born in Ethiopia. Zahara was seven-months-old at the time of adoption.

In 2006, Pitt and Jolie announced that they were expecting a child together. Jolie gave birth to daughter Shiloh Nouvel, 16.

In 2007, the duo adopted Pax Thien, 18, from Vietnam. Pax was adopted by Jolie at age three when the actress traveled to the country with Maddox.

At the time, Jolie adopted the little boy solo as it is difficult for unmarried couples to adopt children under Vietnamese law. Pitt formally adopted Pax in 2008. 

In 2008, the duo decided to grow their family as they welcomed their twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 14, in Nice, France.

According to Forbes’ latest adjustment, Pitt has an estimated net worth of $300 million. Apart from his earnings as an actor, Pitt has invested heavily in the real estate business and is also a film producer.
