Popstar Britney Spears found herself in the midst of another family drama when her former husband, Kevin Federline, said that their two sons have decided that they do not want to see their mother currently. The 40-year-old Spears responded to Federline’s comments in an Instagram story, and also later in a post where she said that she was saddened by the fact that her former husband has spoken publicly about the relationship she shares with her sons, Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15.

Federline’s exact comments were, “The boys have decided they are not seeing her right now. It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding”. These comments were made this week during an interview on ITV news. He also added that this decision came in the wake of the pop icon posting racy pictures on Instagram and her attacks against him and his family on the social media platform. Spears and Sam Asghari, 28, got married in June this year. Spears’ sons did not attend their wedding. In response to Federline’s comments, Asghari posted an Instagram story where he said that it was irresponsible on Federline’s part to make such comments publicly. He added, “The boys are very smart and will be 18 soon to make their own decisions and may eventually realize the ‘tough’ part was having a father who hasn’t worked much in over 15 years as a role model.”
