A TikTok video of Bruce Springsteen falling on stage while performing in the Netherlands over the weekend has gone viral, amassing over 7.4 million views till now.

The 73-year-old and the E Street Band were launching their song Ghosts at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam when the incident took place. Here is the video:

In the video, it can be seen that the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer was attempting to walk up the stage stairs with a guitar around his neck. He ended up tripping and falling to the floor. There was an audible gasp from the fans. After falling, he rolled over on his back and laid flat out on the floor for several seconds. His bandmates immediately rushed over and helped him stand back up.

Fortunately, Springsteen wasn’t hurt during the little fumble. He was able to rise to his feet with a smile. He told his audience “Good night, everybody.” He then proceeded to finish the concert.

A number of his fans reacted to the fall suffered by the singer. “That was not a very BOSS move,” wrote one viewer on Twitter, while another tweeted, “He’s going down, down, down, down…but he got up and is OK.” A third praised him for his quick recovery, writing: “He just laughed it off and delivered a fantastic gig to us all.”

Springsteen and the E Street Band are slated to go on tour across Europe, stopping in France, Italy, Germany, Zurich, Birmingham, Oslo, London, Vienna, Munich, England, and more. The tour comes to the US in August. He will be touringacross the country with a final show set for December 10 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
