BTS Army members J-Hope aka Jung Ho-Seok has tested positive for coronavirus, causing outrage on social media. The musician is undergoing treatment and has placed himself under self-quarantine. BIGHIT Music, the Kpop group’s management company, issued a thorough statement on J-health Hope’s on Thursday, March 24. J-Hope has previously had symptoms such as a sore throat. They published an announcement on Weverse that read –

“J-Hope presented symptoms of a sore throat and visited a hospital to take a PCR test on Wednesday, March 23, and was diagnosed with COVID-19 today morning. J-Hope has completed three rounds of COVID-19 vaccinations and is currently not presenting any extraordinary symptoms other than a sore throat, and is undergoing treatment at home while under quarantine. J-Hope is planning to take part in activities scheduled to take place next month once his at-home treatment concludes”.

“The company prioritises the artists’ health, and we will do all possible to assist j-hope in his quick recovery.” We will also work carefully to comply with the health-care authorities’ requirements and standards,” the statement said.

For the uninitiated, BTS and J-Hope were expected to go to the United States on April 4 for BTS’ Grammy performance, followed by BTS’ show Permission To Dance On Stage: Las Vegas. There are only ten days until the K-pop group’s performance at the Grammy 2022, and the ARMY has been worried about whether Hope will join his band or not.

Fans, known as ARMYs, flocked to Twitter to wish Hobi a swift recovery. “I’m hoping for a rapid recovery for you, my love.” I hope you’re feeling better now. Take care of yourself, Hobi “a fan wrote on Twitter.“Get well soon, sunshine!!!! we love you so much!!!” added another.

On Twitter, BTS ARMY established the hashtag GetWellSoonHobi and wished J-Hope a swift recovery.
