As the clock struck midnight on May 5, Korean boy band BTS left fans exhilarated by revealing the details of their upcoming album ‘Proof’, which marks the band’s highly awaited comeback in the month of June. 

Scheduled to release on June 10, the album “embodies the history of BTS” as the band completes its ninth anniversary this June. 

“After ceaselessly sprinting forward since 2013, BTS is celebrating their 9th anniversary this coming June. It is all thanks to ARMY who have sent us your unwavering love and support,” BTS’ label Big Hit Music said in a statement.

“The BTS anthology album that embodies the history of BTS will be released as they begin a new chapter as an artist that has been active for nine years to look back on their past endeavors,” the agency said.

Revealing the details of the album, the agency said that ‘Proof’ contains three CDs and three brand new tracks that “reflect the thoughts and ideas of the members on the past, present and future of BTS.”

Concluding the statement, Big Hit Music said- “We hope that you look forward to BTS‘ anthology album “Proof”, and relive the history that BTS and ARMY made together so far, and will continue to make in the future to come.”

Fans of the band will be able to pre-order the album from May 5, 11 am KST onwards.

The comeback album is slated to release at 1 pm KST on June 10, 2022.  

A -minutes-long logo trailer of the album on YouTube starts off with the sound of a ticking clock and displays BTS’ music journey through its most iconic tracks. 

Also shared on Twitter by the band’s label, the trailer has amassed over 2.7 million views since its release.
