While the iconic K-pop boy band BTS announced the release of their new single ‘Butter’ this month, India’s dairy brand Amul did not miss the opportunity to steal the show with their new advertisement. Netizens lived up to their expectations and made sure platforms were flooded with memes around the dig. 

The illustration, which was shared by Amul on Instagram, has been doing rounds on various social media platforms showing the seven-member boy band holding a piece of buttered bread and posing with the iconic Amul girl mascot. 

While Amul used wordplay to highlight their product in synchronisation with the soon-to-be-released BTS song and wrote “BeaTS other butters!” fans stuck to the brand’s catchphrase “Amul butter, asli butter”.
