On Day 4 of the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone put on a mini dress and thigh-high boots to ditch the red carpet for an exclusive dinner party hosted by Louis Vuitton and Vanity Fair.
Padukone, who is the House Ambassador of the luxury fashion house, arrived at the party in style, channeling model-off-duty vibes.
Padukone opted for a beige mini jacket dress with a metallic zipper and buttons, and a pair of leather boots, an LV staple in her closet that often makes appearances when she steps out in public. To accessorize the look, the 36-year-old sported an LV shoulder bag and a chunky gold chain necklace.
Padukone wore a floral white shirt underneath the baggy dress. She topped off the look with beach waves and smokey bronze makeup.
The ‘Padmaavat’ star is the first Indian icon to become the House Ambassador of LV. The brand has featured her in several ad campaigns, including the Dauphine bag campaign with Zhou Dongy and Emma Stone.
This year, Padukone is a member of the Cannes jury along with Iranian director Asghar Farhadi, American filmmaker Jeff Nichols, Italian actor-filmmaker Jasmine Trinca, French director-actor Ladj Ly, director-screenwriter Joachim Trier, English actor-filmmaker Rebecca Hal and Swedish actor Noomi Rapace. The jury’s president is Vincent Lindon, a French actor.
On Day 1 of Cannes, Padukone donned a sparkly black saree by Sabyasachi for the red carpet and a shirt-pant set from the brand’s Tropic of Calcutta resort wear collection.
On Day 2, she wore a black power suit by ArdAzAei and paired the ensemble with a silver serpent choker by Cartier.
On Day 3, Padukone showed up on the red carpet in a bright red gown by Louis Vuitton with straps and a plunging neckline.
