Hollywood actors Chris Evans and Emily Blunt have teamed up to star opposite one another in ‘Pain Hustlers’, an upcoming Netflix film.

Netflix closed the deal at this year’s Cannes Film Festival for $50 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In addition to Blunt, the package was the hottest deal at the festival because of its director David Yates, the man behind several ‘Harry Potter’ films and the ‘Where to Find Them’ franchise.

‘Pain Hustlers’, according to its official logline, revolves around Liza Drake, who is a high school dropout that ends up getting a job at a “failing pharmaceutical start-up in a yellowing strip mall in Central Florida. Drake dreams of “a better life for her and her young daughter,” and so, uses her charm and talent to succeed at the job. However, she gets catapulted into the “high life” where she “finds herself at the center of a criminal conspiracy with deadly consequences.”

The film is speculated to follow the themes of ‘The Big Short’ and ‘American Hustle’. It is being collaboratively produced by Lawrence Grey’s Grey Matter Productions and Yvonne Walcott’s Wychwood Pictures.

‘Pain Hustlers’, which has Wells Tower behind its screenplay, will begin its filming stage in August.
