Chelsea Handler stated on social media that she has postponed her comedy tour after being hospitalised.

From a hospital bed, the comic, 46, apologised to fans for having to cancel two of her “Vaccinated and Horny Tour” shows in Oregon.

“I had a scare at the hospital, and I don’t have COVID, and I’m OK, but I had to reschedule my shows,” she said it in an Instagram Stories video from the weekend, in which she was dressed in a hospital gown and a white wire was connected to her chest. Handler remained tight-lipped about her symptoms or diagnosis.

“I will see you all when I see you, and I’m sorry that I had to cancel,” she said. “But I’m all OK. And I’m not pregnant.”

Handler’s Friday and Saturday gigs in Portland and Eugene, Oregon, have been rescheduled for early March, according to a post on his social media pages, in which the comic expressed her “deep sadness” at having to cancel at the last minute. She had initially planned to take a month off from the tour after the two Oregon gigs.

Handler has already been released from the hospital, assuring followers that she is “safe and sound.”

“Everything’s OK,” she stated it in a video she posted on Instagram Saturday night, showing her in pyjamas with a sheet mask on her face, with her boyfriend, Jo Koy, and her dog. Handler is “doing good,” according to Koy.

“I’m just going to chill out for a couple of weeks to recover,” Handler added. “I’m good and will be back on track in no time. … I’m going through all my DMs – well, I’m trying to. Thank you for all the love, you guys – so sweet. Everyone is just so sweet. Thank you for caring so much about my well-being.”
