Comedian, actor and producer Kevin Hart will be part of ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’ new season. He will be on the show as a guest shark. He shared the news on Instagram and wrote, “Look out, there’s a new shark in the water? I’m thrilled to be a guest shark on Season 13 of #SharkTank! Tune in for the Season Premiere Friday October 8 on ABC.”

The 13th season will premiere in October and Hart will join mainstay sharks Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary. He will evaluate pitches from budding entrepreneurs, hoping to score investments in their companies or products.

Recently, Hart launched two companies, HartBeat Productions and Laugh Out Loud. Laugh Out Loud produced a viral Peacock series, ‘Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg’. It features Hart and Snoop recapping the Summer Games.

The comedian is also known for his investments. In March, he invested in supplement company Nutrabolt, which is known for its C4 pre-workout powders and beverages.

Talking to CNBC, he has said that he wants to inspire Black people to pursue opportunities in the business world.

He added that Black men don’t get the world of business and money. Black men has to figure it out as it is not part of public school systems. They are not given financial education.

Other guest who will be part of season 13 of ‘Shark Tank’ are Emma Grede, who is CEO and co-founder of Good American. Grede is founding partner of SKIMS with Kim Kardashian; Nirav Tolia, who is Nextdoor co-founder will also be seen on the show. KIND founder Daniel Lubetzky and Peter Jones, the last remaining original dragon on BBC’s ‘Dragons’ Den’ will also appear on the show as guest sharks.

In last seasons, Richard Branson to Alex Rodriguez and Maria Sharapova appeared on the show.
