Luke Bell, a country singer known for songs like Where Ya Been?
and The Bullfighter, has passed away after going missing in Tucson, Arizona,
according to Fox News Digital. He was 32.

Bell’s death was also confirmed by his friend and fellow artist
Matt Kinman to the country music blog Saving Country Music. Nine days after he
was reported missing on August 20, Bell’s body was discovered on Monday close
to where he was reported to be missing.

Kinman and Bell, who reportedly suffered from bipolar disorder,
recently worked together for several performances and live streams, according
to Saving Country Music. Bell fled from Tucson as Kinman went to get something

“We came down here to Arizona, to work down here, play some
music, and he just took off. He was in the back of the truck,” he told Saving Country Music. “I went in to get something
to eat. I came out, and he’d got out of the truck and left.”

Following the singer’s passing, his friends and fellow country
music
fans flooded social media with condolences, paying tribute to the artist.

Mike and the Moonpies wrote in a Facebook post, “Word just
came down on the passing of Luke Bell and we’re heartbroken over the news. I can vividly remember the first time I met Luke at Hole in the Wall over a decade ago, down to the clothes on his back. The man (and his music) left an impression. He was a real deal travelling troubadour out there on that lost highway. Do yourself a favour and put on some Luke Bell tunes tonight in his memory. Rest In Peace, friend.”
