Bollywood celebrities Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan announced the release date for their upcoming aerial action thriller movie Fighter on Friday, October 28, 2022.

Hrithik Roshan shared a poster of the film on his Instagram profile, captioning, “25th January 2024- see you at the theatres! #Fighter.”

Deepika Padukone also shared the poster with a caption that read, “Fasten your seat-belts!#FIGHTER, India’s first aerial action film, releases on 25th January 2024!”

Apart from Hrithik and Deepika, Anil Kapoor also shared the poster on Instagram and wrote “All systems go! #FIGHTER is cleared for take-off on 25th January 2024! Hold on to your seats and don’t let go!”

The film is directed by Siddharth Anand, and will release on January 25, 2024, with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor playing the lead roles.

The movie’s initial release date was set for September 28, 2023, however the producers have decided the premiere of the film. Siddharth Anand, who is renowned for producing the biggest action films in India is again all set to create another thrilling production. This film is also a tribute to the Indian Armed Forces. 

This film will be the first aerial action film made in India and Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan will also be sharing the screen for the first time.

The COO and producer of Viacom18 Studio, Ajit Andhare, said that he wants this film to uphold Indian roots and also that it meets worldwide standards. The film is an amalgamation of art, technology and techniques and was shot at multiple locations around the world.

After Bang Bang and War, Fighter is Hrithik Roshan’s third film with Siddharth Anand. According to reports, the film is scheduled to begin filming in November 2022.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will also be seen in movies like Pathaan and Jawan, along with Shahrukh Khan. She will also be seen in the much awaited film Project K along South Indian actor Prabhas.
