English pop group S Club 7 member Paul Cattermole has died at the age of 46. He was reportedly found dead at his home. His bandmate and former girlfriend Hannah Spearritt “broke down” after hearing the news of his demise, The Sun reported.

Confirming his death, the band’s management released a statement saying, “We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.”

“He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time,” the statement added.

His death comes just weeks after the band’s major reunion tour was announced.

Paul was in a relationship with his bandmate Hannah. They kept their relationship a secret for close to six months before going public in 2001. They continued being in a relationship even after Paul left the band. However, they broke up in 2016. They rekindled their romance and got back together in June 2015 before breaking up again in November of that year.
