British pop star
Ed Sheeran
, who gave the world its favourite romantic voice with his iconic
song ‘Perfect’, our favourite party anthem with ‘Shape of You’ and all the more
reason reason to cry our hearts out after a tragic breakup while listening to
his soothing voice in ‘Happier’, turned 30 on Wednesday. On the occasion of
this impeccable musician’s birthday, who somehow managed to be a part of our
lives through his songs, we have got a special treat for all the Ed Sheeran

all his guitars

The ‘Afterglow’
singer keeps the kid inside him alive and he does so by naming his most prised
possessions—his guitars. They are: Lloyd, Felix, Cyril, Trevor, Keith, Nigel
and James the Second.  Well, we don’t
blame him, those guitars certainly deserve some love for the kind of magic
their tune creates when blend with Ed’s songs.

He is a
multi-instrumentalist

There is no
denying that an acoustic guitar is Ed’s bag but don’t even think that his
musical talent has any bounds. Ed Sheeran can play bass guitar, drums, piano
cello and many other musical instruments.

inked

It is because Ed
puts a clean cut good boy image to display that many of his fans around the
world are unaware that Ed Sheeran has over 60 multi-coloured designs etched
onto his body. His needle work collection includes a huge lion, a koala bear,
mother-child tattoo and a family along with several other such designs.

Ed Sheeran is a
rap fan
 

Though none of his creations have anything
close to a rap, Ed Sheeran has always been eloquent about his admiration for
Eminem and Slim Shady. In one of his interview, the musician also disclosed that
Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP helped him cure his stammer problem when he was a
kid.

Ed Sheeran has
a flair for words
 

Many of us don’t know this but other than
creating some stellar music, Ed has penned down many songs for
some of the internationally recognised artists like Justin Bieber, Hilary Duff
among many others. Ed co-wrote Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself and The Weekend
Start Time. He also collaborated with Rudimental Band for ‘Lay it all on me’
and Lupe Fiasco on ‘Old school love.’
