Director of “The Suicide Squad” James Gunn has put all speculation to rest and revealed Sylvester Stallone’ part in the DC movie cast.

Gunn has both written and directed The Suicide Squad. While taking to Instagram, he shared a photo of himself with Stallone and wrote, “Always love working with my friend @officialslystallone & our work today on #TheSuicideSquad was no exception. Despite Sly being an iconic movie star, most people still don’t have any idea what an amazing actor this guy is. 🙌”

“James, Coming from a tireless and amazing Director, I consider that to be the Paramount of compliment! Keep punching, Sly,” Stallone replied to his post.

Previously, Stallone worked in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. He played the role of Stakar Ogord.

The Suicide Squad also marks Gunn’s reunion with his “Guardian of the Galaxy” actors Michael Rooker and his brother Sean Gunn.
