Hollywood rapper-singer Drake took social media by storm by dropping his seventh studio album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ on Friday at midnight.
As soon as the stylish chromatic album cover and the tracklist hit the internet, social media users poured in to react.
“Drake is dropping an album tonight with no prior announcements, ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ Tonight! , he is truly the biggest artiste in the world, and he moves that way,” one user wrote on Twitter.
Another user added, “Drake bout to outsell Kendrick Lamar tonight with his surprise album drop they just not on the same level.”
One user compared the album’s arrival to the onset of summer.
“Drake album coming out tonight, the summer is here,” the user wrote.
While some sang praises of the 35-year-old, others criticized his work and took digs at the artist.
“Dude said it’s called “Honestly, Nevermind” maybe he meant that,” one user wrote on Twitter.
“For years I have been paralyzed and stuck in a wheel chair. But when my friend starting playing your new Album “Honestly, Nevermind”, I gained the strength to get up and turn that trash a** music off. Thank you Mr. Drake and all you do for the disabled community,” another user wrote.

‘Honestly, Nevermind’ is Drake’s seventh solo album which contains 14 tracks and spans 52 and a half minutes. Its cover was unveiled on Thursday, along with a description on Apple Music.

“I let my humbleness turn to numbness at times letting time go by knowing I got the endurance to catch it another time. I work with every breath in my body cause it’s the work not air that makes me feel alive,” the 35-year-old wrote.
The album drops days after pop icon Beyoncé announced her upcoming album ‘Renaissance’, which is set to release on July 29.
