Rappers Drake and 21 Savage announced a collaboration album on Saturday, October 22. 21 Savage paired with Drake for his previous album Honestly, Nevermind, that released four months ago. Drake had said then that the music video of their collaboration song in the album called Jimmy Cooks will drop on 21’s 30th birthday. 

At the end of the music video, the duo revealed that they will release a joint album on Friday, October 28, and added that it will be called Her Loss. With this album, the duo will be collaborating for the first time in their respective career making it a treat for the fans.

The album will be produced by OVO Sound and Republic Records and the two production houses shared screenshots from the music video clip on their respective Twitter handles. 

Drake and 21 Savage are on great terms as is evident from their frequent collaborations that are now leading to a full-length album. After 21 Savage was announced as the only external artist in Honestly, Nevermind, speculations were rife about a new project from the duo. 

They have previously collaborated on tracks like Knife Talk, Certified Lover Boy, Mr. Right Now, Sneakin, and Issa, to name just a few. Their bonhomie became even more apparent when Drake made a surprise appearance at a 21 Savage concert at the Atlanta University consortium campus on Thursday, October 20.

It has not yet been announced how many songs the Her Loss is going to have or if there is any music video planned for any of the tracks in it. More details about the album will be added to the story as it emerges in the coming days.
