Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Drew Sidora and husband, Ralph Pittman filed for a divorce, TMZ and PEOPLE reported exclusively in separate reports Thursday.
In documents obtained by TMZ, Ralph said that he and Drew separated on February 19. He added that he wants joint physical and legal custody of their 7-year-old son Machai and 5-year-old daughter Aniya. The Game star has another child, Josiah, from a prior relationship.
Pittman adopted Josiah when he got married to Sidora.
However, Pittman, as per TMZ, does not want to pay spousal support, saying Sidora makes enough money.
According to Pittman, Sidora hasn’t made any financial contributions to the household throughout the majority of their partnership. He wants his 2018 Cadillac and Porsche Taycan while calling on Sidora to be responsible for her won 2021 Cadillac.
The two have separated after 10 years of marriage, just two weeks after she threw him a lavish 40th birthday party.
Sidora and Pittman’s marriage woes played out on Real Housewives of Atlanta. The show had footage of their marriage counseling sessions. Several episodes framed Pittman in an unfavorable light, including Season 14 titled All Abroad the Gaslight Express.
In December 2020, Sidora said that her marriage to Pittman needed help, as the couple agreed to get counseling on an episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
The Game star admitted that things were “not right” between the couple soon after celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary, pushing discussion about therapy.
“You know, we didn’t work things out. We decided to postpone it,” Drew said during a confessional after a tense dinner with her husband.
Pittman has disappeared from the house on many occasions, some of which were documented on Real Housewives of Atlanta, and he and Sidora have squabbled over a lot on camera including suspected infidelity, over-involvement from in-laws, and a plethora of other issues.
