Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has dethroned Kylie Jenner to become the highest-paid star on Instagram.

Johnson landed the No. 1 spot on Hopper HQ’s fourth annual Instagram Rich List — ranking as the only star to average more than $1 million per post. According to Hopper, Johnson’s estimated price per Instagram post has grown 15% since last year, when he averaged $882,000 and was ranked number 6 on the list.

This is the first time in four years that either a Kardashian or a Jenner hasn’t dominated the list. The fall in Kylie’s Instagram net-worth might be the result of her losing her billionaire status recently.

The list is compiled annually by Hopper HQ. While Johnson’s earnings have grown by 15% since last year, Kylie’s have fallen by more than 22%. As per the new rankings, Johnson earns Rs 7.6 crore per post, Kylie makes Rs 7.4 crore per post.

According to Forbes, Johnson is also the highest-paid actor in Hollywood. He earned $23 million (approx. Rs 173 crore) upfront for his role in Jumanji: The Next Level (his highest quote yet), and also took a 15% cut of the profits. He made close to $90 million (approx. Rs 679 crore) last year. He told Forbes, “It has to be audience first. What does the audience want, and what is the best scenario that we can create that will send them home happy?”

Johnson and Kylie were followed by Christiano Ronaldo,

Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Neymar. From Indian celebrities,

Cricketer Virat Kohli landed at number 26 spot, while Priyanka Chopra is number 28 on the list.
