Wrestler-turned-actor
Dwayne Johnson and ‘Deadpool’ lead Ryan Reynolds are now the highest-paid
actors in Hollywood.

According
to Forbes’ 2020 list
, Johnson, who also topped the list in 2019, made $87.5 million.

A big chunk of this comes from Netflix’s ‘Red Notice’ and licensing proceeds from
Project Rock, his line of athletic wear and shoes for Under Armour. The
heavy checks will keep coming in, as the actor plans to make his DC superhero
debut.

Reynolds
co-starred with Johnson in ‘Red
Notice’ and earned $20 million. Not just that, he also earned $20
million from Netflix’s ‘Six
Underground’.  He earned a
total of $71.5 million.

On
number three, we have Mark Wahlberg with $58 million, and ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice
League’ actor Ben Affleck, on fourth with $55 million.

Vin
Diesel, Johnson’s co-star in the ‘Fast
and the Furious franchise’, came in fifth with $54 million.

The
release of ‘F9’ has been pushed to 2021 due to the ongoing coronavirus.

Forbes stated its
earnings estimates span June 1, 2019, and June 1, 2020, from data collected from
Box Office Mojo, ComScore, IMDB, Nielsen and “interviews with industry
insiders.”

These
estimates are pre-tax and don’t subtract managers’, agents’ and lawyers’ fees.
