Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech have been blessed with a baby boy. In a statement posted on Twitter, the former all-rounder asked for privacy and also wrote a small note for his fans, family, and friends. “To all our fans, family, and friends, We are elated to share that today god blessed us with a baby boy. We thank god for this blessing and wish to respect our privacy as we welcome the little one into the world,” the post read. He further added, “Love, Hazel, and Yuvraj.”
His post was well-received by fans and members of the cricket fraternity, who pass their congratulated the couple. Former cricketer Irfan Pathan also conveyed his wishes and wrote, “Many congratulations brother. I’m sure you will be an amazing father. Lots of love to the little one. Regards to bhabhi.”
Yuvraj’s wife, Hazel also shared the statement on Instagram. Her post also received plenty of well-wishes from various famous celebrities. While actress Pragya Kapoor wrote, “congratulations!!! What wonderful news @hazelkeechofficial @yuvisofficial,” actor, television personality, and VJ Ranvijay Singha reacted with a heart emoji.
Yuvraj Singh was born on December 12, 1981 and is a former Indian international cricketer who played in all formats of the game. He was known for his aggressive and elegant stroke play and match-winning all-around performances for India.

Yuvraj scored 362 runs scalped 15 wickets in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and won the man of the series award. He was among those top performers in the 2007 ICC World T20 both of which India won. While his career was going smooth, was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his left lung and underwent chemotherapy treatment in Boston and Indianapolis in 2011.

Right after his recovery, he was conferred with the Arjuna Award, India’s second-highest sporting award by the Government of India in 2012. He was married to Hazel Keech in 2016 and in 2019, he announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket.
