Elon Musk was sued by ex, Grimes over parental rights of their three children.
According to court records obtained by Page Six on Tuesday, Grimes filed a “petition to establish parental relationship” on September 29 in California. The filing requests the court to identify the legal parents of a child when they are not married.
Musk and Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, dated on and off from 2018. They officially split up in September 2021. There were no filings for child support or custody rights in the case as of Monday.

Musk has been divorced three times and has 11 children, including five from a previous marriage: twins Griffin and Vivian and triplets Damian, Saxon and Kai.
Who are X Æ A-Xii, Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus?
X Æ A-Xii
The Tesla owner, 52, and singer, 35, welcomed their first son, X Æ A-Xii, in May 2020. X was originally named X Æ A-12, but “Æ” and “12” violated California law for not being part of the English alphabet, forcing his parents to change his name.
Dark Sideræl
In December 2021, they secretly welcomed daughter Exa Dark Sideræl via surrogate. Exa was given the nickname Y after their other child being named X. In March, Grimes tweeted that her daughter goes by “Y now, or ‘Why?’ or just ‘?’” However, she admitted the “government won’t recognize” the symbol.
Techno Mechanicus
Nobody knew that the pair secretly had a third child, a boy named Techno Mechanicus, till the news was revealed in journalist Walter Isaacson’s “Elon Musk” biography. The pair affectionately call him Tau. Very little is known about the little one or when the kid might have been born.
