Hip-hop icon Eminem is the only artist whose music is being played on Fortnite’s Icon radio station for quite some time. This has sparked rumours that a collaboration might be in the works between the Detroit rapper and the game.

Epic Games, the company behind Fortnite, often teases their collaborations with artists before revealing what is in store for the fans regarding the tie-up. And this is mostly done by playing the musician’s songs on its radio station. Artist-themed items can often be bought from its in-game shop, the Artiste’s Shop, like the times when Fortnite collaborated with Bruno Mars and Silk Sonic.

Fortnite had also collaborated with artists like Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, and Anderson .Paak.

Slim Shady fans are excited about the idea of having their favourite rapper on Fortnite. A fan has also posted on Twitter regarding the same:

Speculations regarding the Eminem collab reached new heights when iFireMonkey, a Twitter handle which brings Fortnite news to fans, also posted regarding the same. However, the handle also pointed out to fans that at the moment, “there are 0 skins currently encrypted so it might be something smaller like a emote or music pack:

Notably, Fortnite also announced its collaboration with Dragon Ball Z this week. On August 18, a number of skins and cosmetics related to the franchise will be launched on the game.

On the work front, Eminem has recently released the second edition of a collection of his greatest hits, titled The Curtain Call 2. The album contains the best of his music from 2009 onwards. Earlier in 2005, the Real Slim Shady hitmaker had released Curtain Call: The Hits, which had some of his biggest chartbusters from the beginning of his career till that point of time.

His last original album was the double, Music To Be Murdered By, which received a lukewarm reaction from both fans and critics.
