Eminem, the rapper, announced his new greatest hits package, titled ‘Curtain Call 2’, which comes on the heels of the 20th anniversary expanded edition of the album ‘The Eminem Show’. 

It is slated to be released on August 5 and will include Marshall Mathers’ latest single with Snoop Dogg ‘From the D 2 the LBC’. The new release will also include Eminem’s music since the 2009 album ‘Relapse’. 

There’ll be solo studio albums, guest appearances, as well as tracks from side projects. The 49-year-old’s contribution to the ‘Elvis‘ soundtrack, titled ‘The King and I (with CeeLo Green)’. 

‘Curtain Call 2’ will also feature a previously unreleased track which will be unveiled in the coming weeks. This new set is the rap icon’s second collection after ‘Curtain Call’ which came out in 2005.

Since the first compilation, Eminem has landed six consecutive No 1 albums on the Billboard 200, taking his grand total to 10 chart-toppers. He also has numerous No. 1 singles including ‘The Monster’ which features Rihanna, ‘Crack a Bottle’, where the Detroit-born artist collaborates with 50 Cent and Dr Dre, and ‘Not Afraid’. 

Eminem’s latest album ‘Music to be Murdered By’ debuted in January 2020, atop the Billboard 200 and included ‘Godzilla’ featuring Juice WRLD, and the track shot to the number three spot. 

‘Curtain Call 2’ will be released via Shady Records/Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope Records and will have a limited edition box set available on Eminem’s official online store.
