The 74th Emmy Awards was on Monday, September 12 at 8pm (ET) / 5pm (PT) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
The Television Academy and NBC officially confirmed the first round of Emmy Award presenters on Wednesday. The lineup included Jimmy Kimmel, Selena Gomez, Mare of Easttown actor Jean Smart, American comedian Hannah Einbinder, Lee Jung-jae, and Jung Ho-yeon from Squid Game, Amy Poehler, Diego Luna, and others. SNL star Kenan Thompson hosted the 2022 Emmys.
Gifts for presenters, visitors, guests and participants
This year’s Emmys presenters and nominees had the opportunity to take home much more than just a gold statuette, thanks to celebrity marketing firm Backstage Creations, which carefully selected luxury swag bags (worth more than $50,000) to be distributed during the live show.

Guests got a gift bag filled with high-end skincare, jewellery, candy, and books in addition to the opportunity to purchase high-ticket items such as luxury hotel vacation trips from Four Seasons Nevis, RiverView Ranch Montana, and Museum Hotel Cappadocia Turkey.
Participants were able to buy this year’s offerings at the invitation-only Giving Suite, located behind the Microsoft Theatre. Proceeds are to benefit the Television Academy Foundation. The Foundation is in charge of several programmes aimed at developing the next generation of television talent, including a student internship programme and the College Television Awards. Backstage Creations raised $140,000 for the foundation in 2019 in collaboration with the Television Academy.

Though Backstage Creations did not reveal the monetary value of Giving Suite items, they are most likely only worth a fraction of the Oscars gift bag.
