Actor Ewan McGregor was spotted attending the Manchester City vs Liverpool Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on Saturday. Accompanying him was his 12-year-old daughter Anouk and as it turns out, both the father and the daughter are City fans.

The actor adopted Anouk with his ex-wife Eve Mavrakis in 2011. The 12-year-old sported cream trousers, white T-shirt, black jacket and a Manchester City scarf. Ewan has four daughters and a son – Jamyan, 21, whom he also adopted with Eve in 2006, and Clara, 27, Esther, 21, and 21-month-old Laurie, whom he had with his second wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead. McGregor married Winstead in April 2022.

Ewan and Eve were married for 22 years, but they separated in 2017, and their divorce was finalized in August 2020 due to “irreconcilable differences.” Ewan then began a relationship with Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The couple’s unexpected baby news was first shared by Ewan’s daughter Clara in June 2021.

The father-daughter duo looked happy as Manchester Unity swept past the Merseyside team with four goals to their one. Although they were the favorites to win the match from the start- given Liverpool’s recent shaky form- many still believed a turnaround could be on the cards for the Reds. They also recently scored five goals past a Manchester United side that is currently sitting third in the Premier League.

The first half of the match ended 1-1 with Mohamad Salah scoring the opening goal, followed by an equalizer by Julian Alvarez. In the second half, Manchester City scored three more goals and sealed a decisive victory against Liverpool.

A few fans took selfies with the actor at the stadium and posted them on social media. “Nothing to see here but two 52 year old fellas hanging out Ewan Mcgregor top bloke,” Steven Marshall wrote, posting a photo with the actor.
