Following her expulsion from the girl group LOONA, Chuu has received public support from a corporation for which she had previously served as an endorsement model.

Concentration Lab, the company behind Smart Snacks, posted a picture of the idol along with the words “JUSTICE FOR CHUU” in bold letters on their official Instagram account on November 26 KST. Her modelling contract with the company has expired, thus the action is drawing extra attention. Even though the company has made accusations regarding the idol’s actions, they yet continue to demonstrate their allegiance to and faith in her.

“Our hearts hurt after hearing the unfortunate news about Chuu, who was previously Concentration Lab’s Study Jelly model. We hope the truth will come out soon,” the company wrote along with hashtags #istandwithchuu, #지켜츄 (protect chuu) and #justiceforchuu. They also stated that if the post causes a problem, they will remove it.

Social media users poured in a lot of support, with users commenting “The whole world is with Chuu. Chuu World Domination,” “thank you for backing up our girl!” and “don’t delete this!!! stand with Chuu.”

Chuu’s expulsion from LOONA was announced on the group’s official fan cafe on November 25, bringing the total number of members to 11.

According to LOONA, the idol was kicked out of the group because she used “violent language and misuse of power towards our staff.”

Chuu has not yet responded to the allegations levelled against him. Chuu made their public debut in 2017 as an original member of LOONA. She made her debut with LOONA in August 2018 after releasing her self-titled single album in December 2017 as part of the group’s pre-debut plan.

Wikitree, a South Korean news outlet, made a shocking claim about Chuu in March, claiming that the singer had sued her management company to end her contract before being fired by LOONA. According to Wikitree, the singer sued her management company to have her contract terminated.

According to the Korea JoongAng Daily, the star “partially” won the legal battle against the firm.
