Shah Rukh Khan surprised his fans on his 57th birthday by releasing a trailer for his upcoming film Pathaan. While many have praised the teaser, some have remarked that it gave them a sense of déjà vu.
Shah Rukh Khan posted the official teaser clip to his Instagram account. The teaser begins with a question, “what do you know about Pathaan?” A voice-over answers, “there has been no sign of him in 3 years and he was brutally tortured, Pathaan was caught in his last mission and so it is very difficult to say whether he is dead or alive.”

One user tweeted – “Watching it again, it still looks better than Pathan, a cheap clone of Sahoo and the director’s first film,” while another added, “Not to mention the ‘Zinda Hai’ right out of Tiger Zinda Hai.” Although Salman Khan’s appearance as Tiger3 is a strong possibility. Despite Sid Anand’s reputation for copying, I anticipated things to be unique. I’m only counting on #srk to finish it.”

The film will be released on January 25, 2022 in three languages: Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu. The film will star Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Pathaan is Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s fourth collaboration.
Padukone made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the 2007 film Om Shanti Om, and they then co-starred in Happy New Year and Chennai Express, all of which were box office successes. This is the first time John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan will appear together on screen.
The film was produced by Siddharth Anand and Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yrf Productions.
