#JusticeForJohnnyDepp’ is topping the Twitter trends worldwide as his ex-wife Amber Heard begins filming for ‘Aquaman 2′. The two had a highly publicised divorce after Heard accused Depp of domestic violence. Though he denied the allegations, he lost a libel case against a UK tabloid that called him a “wife-beater.” Soon after, Depp announced his exit from the Warner Bros’ ‘Fantastic Beasts’ franchise and also lost his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Now, Depp‘s fans are angry that Warner Bros., the studio which fired the actor, is continuing to work with his ex-wife and want her removal from ‘Aquaman 2’. For the unversed, Depp’s lawyers had levelled several accusations against her, most of which were not proven.

“Amber Heard is still in Aquaman 2 when she physically and mentally abused her husband? And it’s on tape? I’ll pass. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp,” one Twitter user wrote.

Meanwhile, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen, who will be replacing  Depp in ‘Fantastic Beasts 3’, said he wishes he could talk to the actor about his role as the dark lord Gellert Grindelwald.

“I mean, obviously, they were going to do the film, and obviously he was not involved anymore. But I didn’t have a dog in that fight. And I don’t know what happened [in his private life], and I don’t know if it was fair, him losing the job, but I just knew that the show was going on, and I would’ve loved to have talked to him about it if I had the chance, but I just don’t know him in that sense,” he said, UK’s The Times reported.
