The 75th Cannes Film Festival started with a bang, sprinkling shimmer and glamour all over the French Riviera. The second day of the festival didn’t dull any sparkle, as Bollywood biggies walked the red carpet, leaving a trail of camera flashes behind that captured every inch of their extravagant gowns.

As we step into Day 3 of the event, here’s a rundown of the best looks from yesterday.

1. Deepika Padukone

Starting off with the Indian jury member at Cannes, Padukone turned up in an ArdAzAei black power suit, styled by Shaleena Nathani. She paired the pantsuit with an edgy Cartier choker featuring panther faces. The 36-year-old completed the look with bright red lipstick and wavy open tresses that gently blew in the summer breeze.

2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Bachchan‘s red carpet appearances at Cannes often make up for her lack of onscreen performances in Bollywood. This year too, the 48-year-old made heads turn with two contrasting ensembles. While her neon pink Maison Valentino pantsuit fell right into the boss-woman archetype, a satin black Dolce & Gabbana ball gown with floral accents oozed all things elegance.

3. Tamannaah Bhatia

Bhatia opted for a saree-gown fusion of yellow, green and black. Styled by Shaleena Nathani, the 32-year-old wore her hair up in a loose bun.

Her second look consisted of a bodycon sequin black gown with a netted cape and long train. Pairing the look with stilettos and dazzling earrings, Bhatia looked like a femme fatale headed to a gala in a Bond film.

Khan painted Cannes red with a pleated strapless gown by Rami Al Ali Official. Styled by Sayali Vidya, the 34-year-old television actor sported tousled hair and bronze makeup.

5. Pooja Hegde

Hegde’s first ensemble consisted of a bodycon strapless mini-dress by Honayda and a long flowy cape. Styled by Akshay Tyagi, the Telugu actor completed the breezy look with blue suede heels by Christian Louboutin.
