All toned up and glowing, these celebrities are trendsetters when it comes to motivating their followers to start a new diet or try out a new facial. We take a look at five Indian television celebrities who have shared their secrets of a fit and sporty physique.

1.    Hina Khan: Hina, known for her killer looks and role of Akshara in the television serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, is deeply dedicated to her fitness. She shared her daily routine, in which she starts off with a glass of lukewarm lemon water for a cleanse and detox and consumes small portions of rich and nutritious meals throughout the day for a healthy metabolism.

2.    Shehnaaz Gill: Former Bigg Boss contestant and Punjab’s superstar Shehnaaz Gill lost 12 kg during lockdown. She achieved her fitness transformation through simple habits such as cutting off her non-vegetarian food intake, chocolates, and ice cream. Furthermore, she reduced her portion sizes and avoided overeating.

3.    Bharti Singh: Comedian and television personality Bharti Singh shocked everyone with her weight loss transformation, which she says is a result of intermittent fasting of up to 16 hours. She doesn’t have any specific food restrictions, but restricts herself from eating after 7 in the evening.

4.    Yukti Kapoor: Yukti, who plays Karishma Singh in the show Maddam Sir, revealed in an interview that the secret to her physique is her non-roti diet. She added that she hasn’t had a roti in three years, and only consumes rice once a month. Her dietary habits appeared extreme to some, thus drawing criticism from her social media audience.

5.    Kashmera Shah– Hindi and Marathi films actress Kashmera Shah switched to cooking meals herself, after ordering online for some time. This simple yet effective habit helped not only her, but her husband and television personality Krushna Abhishek to lose weight.
