Pinhead,
the iconic horror villain from the Hellraiser series, is coming to Dead by
Daylight, the game owners have announced. Pinhead is expected to be released
for the game in September. Pinhead will come to Dead by Daylight using a “Lament
Configuration”. “What comes next is sweet suffering that will spill over the
realm,” reads a line from the Pinhead description.

Talking
about the character, Dave Richard, the creative director of Dead by Daylight,
said, “Not only is he highly charismatic, but he also embraces deeply
disturbing horror scenes, so our fans have been requesting him for a long time.”
“Bringing
Pinhead into the Fog is a way for us to give fans something they want, while
cementing our reputation as the Hall of Fame of horror,” Richard said.
The
Hellraiser chapter for Day by Daylight will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One,
Xbox Series XIS, PC, Stadia, Nintendo Switch and everywhere one can play the
game. The mobile edition of the game though may come after September.

PC players
will be able to test the Hellraiser Chapter through the Dead by Daylight test
build on Steam from August 17 at 11 am ET.
The game owners
have said that players may encounter bugs and other issues in the early version
of the game.
Dead by Daylight,
owned by Behaviour Interactive, has been partnering with a number of major
brands specialising in horror. The game has hosted several crossover events.
Previously, the studio partnered with Capcom for a Resident Evil crossover and
Valve for Left 4 Dead as well as Konami for Silent Hill.
Dead by Daylight’s Stranger Things DLC will
expire in November. The game has seen a growth surge reaching 207,000
concurrent users across all platforms in June setting a new player record.
