Since the filmmaker announced his collaboration with Alia Bhatt, fans have been expecting the debut of Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Gangubai Kathiawadi. After being postponed due to the COVID 19 outbreak, Gangubai Kathiawadi will now be released in theatres on February 25, 2022. Supporters, it goes without saying, are thrilled. The actress publicised the trailer’s release date ahead of the film’s official release. Alia announced on Twitter that the trailer would be released on February 4th. Ajay Devgn plays a major role in Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Last July 27, Alia Bhatt completed the filming of Gangubai Kathiawadi. On her Twitter account, the actress has now disclosed the trailer release date for the film. The trailer will be released on February 4th, according to her. Alia also unveiled a new poster for the film, She wore a white saree with red and silver bangles and silver anklets in the promotional poster. She was resting on a cot with exposed tresses, a huge red bindi, and kohled eyes with an intense stare.

Alia Bhatt captioned her Twitter image, “Aa Rahi Hai Gangu Trailer releasing on 4th February #GangubaiKathiawadi in theatres on 25th February 2022.”

Last month, Gangubai Kathiawadi, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival 2022, received a new release date. “Witness her reign in theatres near you on February 25th 2022,” Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Production House stated on Instagram. #GangubaiKathiawadi.”

Gangubai Kathiawadi is a biographical crime drama based on the novel Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced by Jayantilal Gada. Gangubai Kathiawadi also stars Ajay Devgn and Shantanu Maheshwari in addition to Alia Bhatt. The forthcoming film tells the storey of a lady named Ganga, played by Alia, who transforms into a madame named Gangubai in Kamathipura’s red-light district. The narrative depicts her rise to prominence as she faced one difficulty after another.
