This documentary explores “the monster behind the monster” and focuses on Ghislaine Maxwell, the socialite, and partner of Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender who was tried for sex trafficking. Lisa Bryant is the director of the documentary and it also puts forward various information regarding the Ghislaine Maxwell case.

Plot

The series aims to investigate the part that French-born Maxwell played in Epstein’s abuse of young girls.

The last installment of the docu-series mainly explores the incidents that happened after she was detained and charged by the federal government of the United States in June 2020 for crimes including enticement of minors and sex trafficking of underaged girls. The crimes were related to her association with Epstein.

Interviews with law enforcement officials, legal representatives, and Epstein victims like Annie Farmer has been featured in this documentary. It also shows how she provided evidence against Epstein and Maxwell during their sexual misconduct trial in London.

Ghislaine Maxwell was the daughter of publishing mogul Robert Maxwell. After a car accident that left her older brother in a coma for the rest of his life, Maxwell reportedly experienced a tremendous deal of emotional and parental neglect in her early years.
