American supermodel Gigi Hadid disclosed that she is suffering from imposter syndrome. In an interview with Vogue, the supermodel said, “I have imposter syndrome all the time.”

Gigi Hadid launched her cashmere brand Guest in Residence last month. In the interview, she spoke about how the idea of this clothing line brewed and she also revealed her insecurities. Even though she has a very successful modeling career, Gigi said that she would feel “far more comfortable” if she worked in an office. 

She said, “You can’t model forever. I was creative and that is where I saw my life going. I already had been thinking about cashmere, but I think it (pregnancy) just made me think about how much more settled I would feel to have an office space job. I can take my daughter there with me.”

Maisie Williams, well known for her role as Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, struggles with imposter syndrome. She stated, “I think even being an actress for over a decade now, I still have imposter syndrome. Where you’re asking yourself, ‘Oh, is this really what I’m supposed to be doing?’”

Barbara Corcoran

Barbara Corcoran who is a famous American television personality and judge on the popular show Shark Tank has suffered from imposter syndrome despite having an insanely successful career. She had once stated in an Instagram post, “Who doesn’t suffer from imposter syndrome? Even when I sold my business for $66 Million, I felt like an absolute fraud!”

Tom Hanks

Tom Hanks, who won an Oscar for his performance in A Hologram for the King, said in an interview with NPR that he related to his character in particular because he, too, has struggled with self-doubt. Tom Hanks said, “No matter what we’ve done, there comes a point where you think, ‘How did I get here? When are they going to discover that I am, in fact, a fraud and take everything away from me?”

Tina Fey

Tina Fey an American actress, writer, and producer talked about her imposter syndrome in an interview with the Independent. She said, “The beauty of the imposter syndrome is you vacillate between extreme egomania, and a complete feeling of: ‘I’m a fraud! Oh god, they’re onto me! I’m a fraud!'”
