While discussing taking on either “Da Man” or Edge at the two-night event next year, he said he would then choose his real number one. Big E said  the two might not have the greatest match of all time, but a 10-minute or a two-minute or  even a one-minute match would do, because the  opportunity to wrestle his childhood hero was too big for him.

Big E said he met Goldberg 20 years ago at a signing and he still had the 8×10 up in his closet that his hero signed and gave him.

He said, “So I know there’s something very full circle about — the fact that it’s even possible is dope. So I would love to have one. Give me 90 seconds of a match,” said Big E.

Goldberg has only one more match left in his contract, it will be interesting to see whether he will face off against Big E. Fans would certainly love to see the two engage in a fight.

During an interview with Sportsnet, WWE Champion Big E revealed that he was looking for a match with Goldberg at Crown Jewel 2021. But he ended up defending his title  against Drew McIntyre. On the other hand, Goldberg had a dominating victory over Bobby Lashley at the pay-per-view.

Big E has previously said that he would like to be the one to retire Goldberg. The 54-year-old WWE Hall-of-Famer is at the twilight  of his career.
