The nominations for a total of 26 categories of the Annual Golden Globe Awards were announced on Wednesday. The event will celebrate its 78th edition this year.

Though the COVID-19 prompted delay pushed the hopes high for all those desperately waiting for the nominations, Twitter gave mixed reactions on jury’s choice for this year.
While some applauded the Emma Corrin, Regina King and Schitt’s Cree’s nomination, a number of people lashed out at Golden Globe’s criteria of picking the nominations and accused it of being racially biased.

The 78th Golden Globes ceremony will be held on February 28. It has been decided that Fey will broadcast live on NBC television from Rainbow Room, while co-host Poehler to go live at Globes’ usual home, the Beverly Hilton.
