By dividing its supporting actor and supporting actress honours into distinct awards for continuing TV series, limited/anthology series, or TV movies, the HFPA has also added new categories. In the past, TV movies, limited series, and ongoing TV shows all had contestants in the supporting acting categories.

The 2022 calendar year’s movies and television programmes are eligible for the awards.

On Tuesday, January 10, at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on NBC and Peacock, Jerrod Carmichael will serve as the host of the 2023 Golden Globes presentation, which will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton.
