With only a few days left until the 65th annual Grammy Awards, and the full performer lineup yet to be announced, here is how the show is shaping up.

The first “regular” Grammy Week in three years is shaping up to be even more action-packed than the years prior to Covid in a time when nothing feels normal anymore. Beginning on Wednesday, almost every day and night will be filled with events including parties, showcases, brunches, lunches, and happy hours, just like it was in 2019.

It appears that the lineup for the February 5 performance at the Crypto.com stadium in Los Angeles has been revealed abnormally late. Harry Styles was just recently revealed as one of the show’s performers.

The White House announced on Wednesday that US first lady Jill Biden will participate in this year’s Grammy Awards as a presenter.

Cardi B, Olivia Rodrigo, Dwayne Johnson, Viola Davis, Billy Crystal, James Corden, and Shania Twain will all be present with her.

Who is skipping this year’s show?

Due to scheduling conflicts, Lady Gaga, who is nominated for two prizes for her song “Hold my Hand” from the film “Top Gun: Maverick,” won’t be present. It is impossible for him to go because Finneas, who is up for Best Song Written for Visual Media, is now touring in Australia.

It is unknown if Drake, who is nominated for multiple prizes for his work with Future and Jack Harlow, would attend. However, rumours suggest that his participation in award ceremonies is rarely pre-announced.

While there were rumours that suggested Adele won’t be attending this years award ceremony, she quickly shut them down, calling whoever started these rumours a “dickhead”.

During Adele’s performance in Las Vegas on Friday (January 27), at the 17th performance of her illustrious residency at Caesars Palace, the subject came up in some light-hearted conversation. She stated while seated behind a piano that she had been approached all week with questions, ““Being like, ‘How come you’re not going to the Grammys?’ Who said I weren’t going to the Grammys, man?

“Whoever started that rumour is a dickhead, ‘cause I am going to the Grammys. I would never miss the Grammys. I would never be as disrespectful to the Grammys or to other artists, and whoever started that little story needs to go and touch some grass, alright? Go and get some fresh air, alright darlings?”
