Up and coming singer Pheobe Bridgers, who has been nominated for a total of four awards in the fast-approaching Grammy Awards, will be releasing a revamped version of her song “Kyoto” which will feature Jackson Browne.

Spotify, the music streaming giant, will be releasing new exclusive singles from the nominees who have been placed in the ‘Best New Artist’ category, where Bridgers has secured a spot. The initiative has been taken in alignment with the increasing eagerness of the audience to witness the Grammy Awards, reported Stereo Gum.

Some nominated artists have been preparing a new version of their own songs, whereas some have attempted to spin-off a version of a song produced by former nominees in the ‘Best New Artist’ category.

Kyoto, a fan-favourite song in the US, will be revamped by Bridgers, which will be pivoting away from the classic Tibet House version. The newer version will introduce an acoustic guitar and will take a diversion in the melody to give a warm and unplugged spin-off.

The artist also previously gave a sneak peek into the upcoming version after singing her piece on a virtual meet with Philip Glass, Jackson Browne and the Scorchio Quartet, reported Stereo Gum.
