Keyshia Ka’oir has shut down rumors of her husband, rapper Gucci Mane defrauding Big Scarr‘s family out of money for the late rapper’s funeral.  

Scarr, who had a record deal with Gucci’s New 1017 Records label, died at the young age of 22, last month after he unintentionally overdosed on prescription medication.

Scarr’s close friend and collaborator Quezz Ruthless criticized Mane over the weekend on Instagram Live for initially agreeing to cover his former signee’s burial costs but then refusing to do so when it came time to make the payment.

“You say to them you finna pay for the funeral, then you lie,” Quezz said. “You didn’t have to lie! You ain’t have to go ghost either, cuh. It was gonna get paid for either way. You could’ve just said you ain’t have the money. You don’t get no type of respect for that, cuh.”

He added: “When they texted you and asked you about Scarr’s funeral, cuh, you told them folks that Keyshia’s birthday coming up. Man, y’all rich! Y’all can celebrate her birthday any day. Come on now, cuh.”

What did Keyshia Ka’oir do?

Mane’s wife Keyshia Ka’oir reportedly has receipts that prove that her husband paid for Scarr’s funeral and after the rumor against Mane went viral on social media, she didn’t hesitate to share them with the world.

“PAYMENT DIRECTLY TO FUNERAL HOME! Leave my husband alone” she wrote over a snapshot of a receipt from N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral in Memphis, Tennessee in her Instagram Stories. The amount spent is listed as $10,000. Ka’oir mentioned that Mane also sent flowers but no thank you came from Scarr’s family and friends.
