The first trailer of Marvel‘s Hawkeye is here. The Disney+ MCU series stars Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton) and Hailee Steinfeld (Kate Bishop). The series revolves around Renner’s character Clint Barton or Hawkeye and his mentee Kate Bishop.

In the Marvel comics, Kate Bishop, who considers herself as the best archer in the world, has taken up the mantle of Hawkeye and is the first woman to do so.

The trailer also hints at Ronin’s comeback, Barton’s alter ego, which he transformed into after losing his family in Avengers: Infinity War. Ronin was seen in Avengers: Endgame.

The trailer shows some fantastic action sequences and promises a father-daughter relation between Hawkeye and Kate.

In an interview with EW, Jeremy Renner had said: “She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.”

While Clint is trying to spend more and more time with his family, he is always being drawn by some problems or the other.

There are also glimpses of Kate’s beloved pup, Lucky the Pizza Dog, and Rogers: The Musical, a Captain America Broadway show.

If Black Widow’s post-credits scenes are to be believed then Florence Pugh’s scene-stealer Yelena Belova will feature in the series.
