Father’s Day honors fatherhood and the link that children have with their fathers and other paternal figures. Father’s Day is commemorated every 3rd Sunday in June. This year, it was celebrated on June 19th.

‘The Little Master’ Sachin Tendulkar, an avid Twitterati was also given a pleasant surprise by his son, Arjun Tendulkar on the occasion. Arjun Tendulkar treated his father to a breakfast of scrambled eggs. Having absolutely loved the treat, the former Indian cricketer shared a pic with his son and wrote, “Had the best scrambled eggs in the world today made by Arjun.” He then added,” The creaminess, texture and consistency was so good! A breakfast filled with love…couldn’t have asked for more.” and ended with a heart emoji.

The tweet was liked over 42,000 times and was retweeted over a 1,000 times since the Indian legend posted it.

Arjun Tendulkar is a left-handed fast bowler who also bats left-handed. In 2018, he made his U-19 debut for India against Sri Lanka. He made his Twenty20 debut for Mumbai against Haryana in the 2020–21 season of the prestigious Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

The Mumbai Indians bought Tendulkar in the IPL auction in February 2021, ahead of the Indian Premier League’s 2021 season. However, owing to injury, he was forced to withdraw from the tournament. Tendulkar was named to Mumbai’s senior team for the first time in September 2021. The Mumbai Indians bought him again in February 2022 .

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time, has been a fixture of India’s batting line-up for more than two decades. In both Test (14,692) and One-Day International (ODI) cricket, he is the all-time highest run scorer with 18,111 runs. At the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, Tendulkar finally realized his dream of winning the Cricket World Cup in 2011. The former Indian captain won the prized trophy after six World Cup appearances. Tendulkar has achieved 99 international hundreds (51 Test + 48 ODI) and is the top century maker in both Test and ODI cricket. In 2014, he received India’s highest civilian distinction, the Bharat Ratna.
