Shin Min Ah
plays Yoon Hye Jin, a dentist who relocates from Seoul to the coastal town of
Gongjin in this tvN romantic drama, which is a remake of the film “Mr. Hong.”
On the other hand we have  Kim Seon Ho,
who plays Hong Doo Shik, a handyman who assists everyone in town. Ji Sung Hyun,
a variety show PD known for generating pleasant material about people’s
everyday lives, is played by Lee Sang Yi.

In the middle of viewers’ high anticipation
for the drama, Shin Min Ah shared her own reason for choosing to star in
“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.” She explained, “I wanted to try a fluffy and
fun romantic comedy for the first time in a while. When I first saw the script,
the plot was strong and my heart really went out to the character of Hye Jin.”

Yoon Hye Jin
is in her new home which is also an unfamiliar village to her where she gives
her best try to adjust. She carefully clutches a shopping bag at a wine bar.
She maintains a professional demeanour at work, demonstrating how well she
matches her outfit. Hye Jin is also seen taking a break while jogging,
demonstrating her commitment to self-care while keeping her style.

A personal opinion was
shared by Shin Min Ah on Yoon Hye Jin which said  “Although Hye Jin believes herself to be a
realist, internally, she’s a character that honestly has charms of
righteousness, warmth, innocence, and clumsiness. I think the fact that she
doesn’t know this about herself is her charm.”

“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” premieres on August
28 at 9 p.m. KST.
