Tyler Sanders, 911 Lone Star actor died from an overdose of fentanyl, revealed his autopsy report after months of speculation. 

Sanders was found dead at his Los Angeles home on June 16, 2022, where he lived alone. He had sent a text message to his friend the night before his death, which said that he was using the narcotic. However, the recipient didn’t respond to messages after his initial text. Straw and white powder were also discovered in the room where he died, the concerned officials reported.

The 18-year-old actor died from the effects of fentanyl in what authorities have declared an accident. Sanders wasn’t having any medical problem known, but he had a history of abusing various substances including heroin, cocaine, LSD, mushrooms and Xanax, TMZ reported. 

Sanders’ cause of death was listed as “deferred, requesting more investigation into the death, including additional studies. Once the tests and studies come back, the doctor evaluates the case again and makes the cause of death determination,” the report stated.

In a social media post before his death, the teen actor posted a snap of himself captioned “Styling,” sporting a sharp blue suit in glasses while visiting Vail, Colorado

TikTok star Cooper Noriega was also found dead in June in Los Angeles. He died of “combined effects of alprazolam, fentanyl and lorazepam.”

Meanwhile, fentanyl seizures at the US-Mexico have continued to surge in 2022, with various busts setting different records throughout the year. “A decade ago, we didn’t even know about fentanyl, and now it’s a national crisis. The amount of fentanyl we are seizing at the border is staggering,” US Attorney Randy Grossman said in a press release in August.
