The 52-year-old said, “After much consideration with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke,” in addition to the more general statement, “I’m giving up.” Fans were taken aback by the sudden announcement, considering Snoop Dogg’s well-established fondness for marijuana, which has been evident in a number of his commercial ventures, including edibles, cannabis strains, and a digital media company that specializes in marijuana-related news. The rapper asked that people “respect my privacy at this time” as he concluded the statement.
However, the rapper has not yet revealed the reason for making such a decision. The father of four has two sons from a prior relationship with Laurie Holmond, a son named Julian (25), and three children from his 25-year marriage to Shante Broadus: Cordé (28), Cordell (26), and Cori (23).
