Inkcarceration 2022’s lineup was announced on Thursday. Korn, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin and Evanescence will headline the Mansfield rock and metal music festival at the Ohio State Reformatory.

The festival is scheduled to take place between July 15 and 17.  Inkcarceration this year will also see some heavy-hitters including Lamb of God, Seether, Falling in Reverse, Three Days Grace and Theory of a Deadman perform. The tickets for the festival are available on the official website. 

Along with rock and metal musicians, Inkcarceration eill also feature more than 30 shops and 70 tattoo artists. The Tattoo competitions will take place on all nights of the festival with  Caleb Neff, actor Robert LaSardo and musician Jenncity as the judges.

Interestingly, the venue for he festival – Ohio State Reformatory – was the set of the 1994 film ‘The Shawshank Redemption’. Free tours will take place in the space throughout the weekend. The Blood Prison will also be open for attendees to check out. 

The festival saw about 75,000 attendees in September 2021. 

“The 2022 edition will be, by far, our most ambitious year yet. The partnership with the Danny Wimmer Presents team has really enhanced all aspects of the festival and fan experience. Seeing the excitement this event continues to bring to this state and city of Mansfield, along with the fan support from all over the country, makes me so proud to call Ohio my home,” said Inkcarceration co-founder Daniel Janssen in a press release.

Inkcarceration is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, which also puts on Sonic Temple music festival in Columbus.
