Hollywood star Tom Cruise was forced to call security on the ‘Mission Impossible’ film set after a gang on intruder’s gatecrashed the production, reports mirror.co.uk.

The 58-year-old is currently shooting the long-anticipated action movie in Yorkshire after filming was postponed on more than one occasion due to the coronavirus pandemic last year.

The production of the film restarted earlier this year.

The action movie heartthrob has been busy shooting dangerous stunts on a vast quarry location for a number of days now, but the set has felt overly crowded .

A film insider told The Sun that the “The set is so large and open that it has been impossible to close it all off. So, trespassers have been getting in and attempting to scale the rigs and equipment set up for the stunts.

“It is a health-and-safety nightmare. Police were called to one incident last week and then Tom was forced to take action when it happened again.”

The entire situation is a ‘safety nightmare’, according to the source.
