Post Malone has refuted fan rumors that his drastic weight loss was caused by drugs. He has insisted that he is healthy and happy and there is nothing wrong with him physically.Right now, Malone is on tour in Australia. Late last month, the musician, whose real name is Austin Post, shared a shirtless picture of himself where he seemed to have undergone a rapid weight loss. Some of his fans voiced their concern after a video from his recent performance went viral. A number of fans noticed that apart from his noticeable weight loss, he made obscure movements while singing. This made fans worried that their idol was sick or battling drug addiction.
As is most rumors, Malone has clarified that he is neither sick nor addicted to drugs and his fans need not worry. Sources close to him told TMZ that there was no cause for fans to be alarmed. This is because Malone has never been in a better shape in his life.
Apparently, Malone has previously gained some weight for a movie role. But presently he has been adhering to a strict diet and working out. His tour is also contributing to his weight loss as he has been doing a 90-minute set since September.
Malone’s father has also weighed in on his son’s new look on social media, praising him for being the “Healthiest he’s been in years! Mentally and physically.”
