The release of James
Bond franchise’s next project ‘No Time to Die’ has been postponed once again
due the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The movie will now release on October 8,
2021, confirmed Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios on Thursday.

The 25th installment of the fictional British spy saga, which was scheduled to be premiered in London in the march of last year, has already been pushed back
multiple times.

Earlier, it was postponed till November 2020 until the makers announced the revised release date for April 2021, which has also been abandoned now.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the 25th part of the movie is expected to lead actor Daniel Craig’s last outing as the suave British spy, after starring in four previous
films.

‘No Time to Die’ will witness Bond’s old friend and CIA agent Felix Leiter’s successful attempt to draw protagonist out of the retirement in Jamaica.

The film also features Rami Malekplays, Lashana
Lynch, Lea Seydoux, Ana de Armas, Ben Whishaw among others.

‘No Time To
Die’ is one of many major Hollywood titles impacted by the
pandemic induced lockdowns, as studios weigh up whether to push back their release dates
indefinitely, or opt for online streaming releases that deprive them of vital
box office profits.

The film, rumored to be produced at the cost of around $250 million, will be distributed overseas by Universal Pictures.
